Loads of suggestions for a theme were made by Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff unanimously voted for the theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ which was suggested by Saskia Jackson from Brighton.Pride in Brighton & Hove advances education to eliminate discrimination and promote equality and diversity against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It promotes understanding of these human rights by facilitating and promoting a of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also fulfils its objectives by making grants and/or donations to other charitable and voluntary organisations.
